We always advise it is time efficient to contact us at the earliest opportunity, even if your offer has not been accepted or you have not yet decided to accept an offer or you have only just put your property on the open market for sale.
By contacting us early we can process the initial paperwork and address any questions you may have in readiness for a sale or purchase proceeding. This will include receiving an estimate of costs and disbursements, completing and returning our terms of engagement, carrying out the ID procedures to comply with regulatory provisions to enable your transaction to proceed. This will include completing the Property Information Forms if you are selling so that we are ready and prepared for when your transaction is ready to move forward.
The average timescale for a transaction is 8 to 12 weeks. However, if you have urgent deadlines we can work within your preferred timescales and you can discuss your requirements with our highly qualified Partners.
